Registered Nurse - patient education (Honolulu, HI)

Summit Ventures is a transit-planning firm in Honolulu working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on accessibility audits with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
