Registered Nurse - patient education (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Orchard Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Hartford working with agencies and riders, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on fare systems with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
