Registered Nurse - patient education (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Health is an early-learning provider in Hartford. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on classroom supplies with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
