Registered Nurse - patient education (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Vista Medical is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on device records with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
