Registered Nurse - patient education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Bright Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 563 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on complaint handling with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
