Registered Nurse - patient education (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Iron Early Learning and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on meal programmes with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
