Registered Nurse - patient education (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Mill Transit Planning and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on accessibility audits with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
