Registered Nurse - patient education (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Basin Health is a healthcare provider in Detroit with clinics and support teams, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on patient scheduling with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
