Registered Nurse - patient education (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Wilder Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Des Moines. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on production lots with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
