Registered Nurse - patient education (Des Moines, IA)

Redstone Willow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Des Moines. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on clinical evaluations with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
