Registered Nurse - patient education (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Nest Early Learning runs childcare centres in Des Moines caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on enrolment with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
