Registered Nurse - patient education (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wilder Early Learning Partners and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on tuition and subsidies with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
