Registered Nurse - patient education (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Cedar Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Columbus. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on visit scheduling with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
