Registered Nurse - patient education (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Thistle Insurance is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on underwriting files with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
