Registered Nurse - patient education (Chicago, IL)

Bright Pike Early Learning Partners operates neighbourhood childcare around Chicago, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
