Registered Nurse - patient education (Charleston, SC)

Redstone Sparrow Care Services supports families and individuals in Charleston with personal care and coordination, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
