Registered Nurse - patient education (Buffalo, NY)

Rivermark Loom Learning Group is an education provider in Buffalo serving students and families, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 735 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on learning materials with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
