Registered Nurse - patient education (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Orchard Care Services is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on licensing with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
