Registered Nurse - patient education (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Nova Ridge Insurance Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on underwriting files with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
