Registered Nurse - patient education (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Rowan Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Birmingham working with agencies and riders, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on ridership counts with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
