Registered Nurse - patient education (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Lakeside Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Birmingham working with agencies and riders, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on service alerts with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
