Registered Nurse - patient education (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge North Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Birmingham. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
