Registered Nurse - patient education (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood Glen Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Baltimore. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on accessibility audits with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
