Registered Nurse - patient education (Austin, TX)

Nova Corner Medical Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 136 people based in Austin. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on training materials with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
