Registered Nurse - patient education (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Stone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Austin working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Austin. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on service alerts with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
