Registered Nurse - patient education (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Nova Rowan Health and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on electronic records with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
