Registered Nurse - patient education (Atlanta, GA)

Rivermark Thistle Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Atlanta. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on classroom supplies with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
