Registered Nurse - patient education (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Rook Learning Group is an education provider in Anchorage serving students and families. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
