Registered Nurse - patient education (Anchorage, AK)

Cedar Union Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Anchorage. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on caregiver training with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
