Registered Nurse - patient education (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Forge Care Services provides in-home and community support in Albuquerque. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 310 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
