Registered Nurse - occupational health (Rochester, NY)

Westbrook Cedar Health Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on occupational health for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on insurance authorisations with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
