Registered Nurse - occupational health (Reno, NV)

Clearpath Wilder Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Reno. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on occupational health. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Support work on underwriting files with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
