Registered Nurse - occupational health (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Fox Learning Group is an education provider in Oakland serving students and families. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on occupational health. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
