Registered Nurse - occupational health (Oakland, CA)

Summit Willow Insurance is an insurance company in Oakland with claims and service teams, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our occupational health. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
