Registered Nurse - occupational health (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Nova Juniper Transit Planning and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be occupational health. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on route schedules with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
