Registered Nurse - occupational health (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Thistle Insurance is an insurance company in Hartford with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on occupational health. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on premium billing with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
