Registered Nurse - occupational health (Des Moines, IA)

Northwind Ridge Insurance is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on occupational health for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 238 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
