Registered Nurse - occupational health (Buffalo, NY)

Ironwood Summit Learning Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on occupational health for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on student accounts with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
