Registered Nurse - clinic nursing (Oakland, CA)

Cedar West Care Services supports families and individuals in Oakland with personal care and coordination, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our clinic nursing. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
