Registered Nurse - clinic nursing (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Birch Care Services Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on clinic nursing for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on caregiver training with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
