Registered Nurse - care coordination (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Corner Insurance Group is an insurance company in Virginia Beach with claims and service teams, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our care coordination. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on underwriting files with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
