Registered Nurse - care coordination (Portland, OR)

Lumen North Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Portland. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on care coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people based in Portland. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on underwriting files with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
