Registered Nurse - care coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Redstone Meridian Health Group runs clinics and patient services around New Orleans, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our care coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on patient scheduling with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
