Recruiter - technical hiring (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Loom Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Virginia Beach, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to policy renewals. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
