Recruiter - technical hiring (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Beacon Early Learning and adding a Recruiter whose main responsibility will be technical hiring. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to tuition and subsidies. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
