Recruiter - technical hiring (San Jose, CA)

Bluepeak Cobalt Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around San Jose, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to classroom supplies. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on classroom supplies. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
