Recruiter - technical hiring (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Quill Environmental Services and adding a Recruiter whose main responsibility will be technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 122 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to landfill records. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
