Recruiter - technical hiring (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Iron Insurance is an insurance company in San Antonio with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to claims. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on claims. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
