Recruiter - technical hiring (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Labs is a nonprofit in Salt Lake City supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to grant reporting. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on grant reporting. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
