Recruiter - technical hiring (remote)

Northwind Cedar Legal Group is a Detroit practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to client files. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on client files. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
